Join ARNCTA for continuing education workshop on teaching Asian American history in our state before the public film screening of the classroom-ready, award-winning documentary film FAR EAST DEEP SOUTH. Dr. Zach Smith will lead an exploration of engaging themes and classroom-ready materials for teaching Asian American experiences in Arkansas and US History courses. Topics include: Chinese grocers, Japanese internment, Marshallese refugees, and more.
