Oxford Film Festival had their awards ceremony online for the 1st time ever and our film won Best Mississippi Feature Film!!! This was the first time we have competed against both documentaries and narrative feature films in a category. There were so many great films that it is a huge honor to receive this award. Normally, there’s an actual “Hoka” award presented so it’s bittersweet not being able to celebrate in person in Mississippi. We know there are more important things in the world than awards, but it was nice to get some good news. Don’t forget our film is playing online until June 12.
